
Jan AganJen is a graduate of The New School for Massage and is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist. She has a extensive knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology. Skilled in deep tissue, neuromuscular, sports, thai, and trigger point therapy, Jen can address chronic conditions and help clients increase their body awareness. Two of the most important goals of sports massage to Jen are to assist the athlete in achieving and maintaining peak performance and to support healing of injuries. She enjoys the opportunity to help athletes reach and maintain their desired goals. Working with the sports population has challenged Jen to incorporate her accumulated knowledge and experience, while maintaining her willingness to learn.
Jen has been active in yoga for six years and is a certified yoga instructor. As a runner herself, she understands the importance of sports massage to support fitness, help reduce the demands the sport places on the body, increase the ability to perform the sport, and enhance and shorten recovery time. She believes in balance of body, mind, and spirit. Sports fitness is an integral part of this triad.
