
Luis BracamonteLuis Bracamonte began competing at the international level in the sport of
swimming at age 6. Born in Trujillo, Peru he was a multiple national champion
and competed in several world class tournaments including South American
Championships, World Cup Tournaments, US Open Championships and the Pan American
Games of Winnipeg in 1999. In 1997 he come into UIC with a full athletic
scholarship and after a successful collegiate athletic career he graduated with
a BS in Kinesiology in 2001. As a Personal Trainer and Swim Coach he has successfully work with advanced
and beginner athletes alike and has been featured on Fox Chicago and Foxhilites
and writes a daily fitness blog on his site chicagotrainer.net. Luis holds multiple
certifications and believes that a coach should always stay current on the
latest developments in sports science. Luis' expertise in swimming science,
strength and conditioning and sport specific training adds to the wealth of
