Triathlon Combo Training Class
Triathlon is an endurance competition that incorporates swimming, biking and running. But you probably already knew that :) As we train throughout the year we improve our conditioning in every sport, hoping that it will lead to better performance when we race as we put all three sports together. Unfortunately, often times, the first time we truly know how our body reacts to the transition from sport to sport, is on race day. However, to eliminate this problem we have created the "Triathlon Combo Class".
The focus of the "Triathlon Combo Class" is eight weeks of training, designed to condition your body and teach you the skills you need to have a smoother and faster transition between the three sports in triathlon.
In each of the 2 hour classes we will cover the following points.
- Open water swim and race swim strategy
- T1 – set up and practice
- Bike skills and race strategy
- T2 – set up and practice
- Run strategy
- Swim to bike and bike to run workouts in every session
- You will get to train at 5:30 AM (great…)
… And as with all of Well – Fit programs you will learn a lot more than you expected about triathlon training and racing.
