10 week HalfIronman Program–Starts April 21, 2008
A program for athletes who seekrace specific, “final approach” training. Nine to sixteenhours per week: By all means customize, but don’t missthe workouts highlighted in blue.
16 week HalfIronman Program–Starts March 10, 2008
A complete endurance trainingprogram that begins (ideally) four months before race day. Thoseseeking endurance before focusing on race specific training willbenefit most from this program. Per week training ranges betweennine to sixteen hours. But the program can be easily pared down toaccommodate busy schedules, or shear exhaustion. If you do abbreviatethe training be sure to concentrate on the workout highlighted inblue. They are critical.
The BeginnerOlympic Distance Program–Starts April 7, 2008
The focus of this program is developingthe aerobic endurance you need for the distance, with some speedand power workouts. We assume you just want to see if you like triathlonracing, it is your first race and you have not been training consistentlyup to now.
The Advanced Olympic Distance Program–StartsApril 7, 2008
The focus of this program is to developyour speed, power and anaerobic endurance, as well as maintain youraerobic endurance. We assume you have trained consistently up tonow and have developed an adequate aerobic base. You have one ormore years in the sport and have some experience in training andracing. The advanced program will peak your ability on race day.
