December 19, 2008 (Chicago, IL) -- Well-Fit Triathlon and Training added to its growing list of corporate partners with the addition of Aquaman Triathlon USA, the world leader in wetsuit technology. Aquaman created the first wetsuits for triathlon in 1984, when triathlon was in its infancy and the need for wetsuits specially made for triathlon had just arrived. Aquaman wetsuits continue to provide a technological advantage over the competition providing its athletes with the best chance to better their time.
As part of the partnership, members of the Well-Fit Training Center will receive special discounts on Aquaman's top models, including the Cell Gold worn by the top professionals, including Hunter Kemper, Laura and Greg Bennett, Becky Lavelle, Candy Angle and many more. These discounts are in addition to the "pro" level discounts already provided to members of the Training Center from Well-Fit sponsors Polar and Rudy Project.
Additionally, Well-Fit's proven Swim Technique I class will now be the Aquaman Swim Technique I class. One participant in each class will win a free Aquaman wetsuit based on his or her attendance over the course of the eight-week program. Well-Fit's Swim Technique I has helped literally hundreds of beginner and moderately advanced athletes conquer the swim leg of the triathlon -the most difficult leg to master for athletes who did not grow up in swim programs.
This partnership with one of the recognized pioneers and undisputed leaders in triathlon will provide more great benefits to our members, but just as important, it's evidence that Well-Fit is on the verge of something great," said Patrick Jones, Well-Fit's Director of Business Operations. "Aquaman does not partner with just anyone. I am not aware of them sponsoring any other club in the country. This is big for Well-Fit, for our members and for triathlon in the Midwest."
The partnership should provide athletes with an incentive not only to sign up for the Aquaman Swim Technique I class, but to make sure that they make it to each class and reap the greatest benefit possible from Well-Fit's top swim coaches.
