Well-Fit's Cycling Programs
Three different classes each week focusing on technique, endurance, and power is the ultimate cycling pre-season program to take your functional power to the competitive level. Sign-up for one, two, or three classes per week (see discounted packages below) based on what you need or can mentally endure to achieve your ultimate cycling fitness. Well-Fit has spent years tweaking and developing the best cycling classes in Chicago to provide you with everything you need to become the cyclist you desire. Classes are for every level of rider from beginners to elite. So whether you just learned to ride a bike or have been cycling for years Well-Fit's bike classes will not only help you improve but give you a great workout too!
The cycling classes offered are the following:
Bike Technique and Endurance
This10 week class designed to perfect your pedal stroke and cycling technique while increasing your endurance. Using a variety of training protocols that combine efficiency drills with steady state intervals we will make sure that your peddle stroke efficiency will climb tothe top. Read more and Register.
Training With Power: 411
A full 8 week periodized training plan in Training Peaks (4 sessions per week) beginning March 4th. 2 coached sessions per week utilizing computrainers at the Well-Fit’s state-of-the-art training facility; Thursdays 6:00pm and Sundays 7:30am A full array of power tests to build an accurate Power Profile. Develop the proper cycling mechanics over a range of cadences. Read more and Register.
Indoor Long Ride
This class designed purely to develop your endurance base by cycling at aerobic intensity while maintaining proper pedal stroke efficiency and eliminating weather and other outdoor obstacles. Startingat 60 minute workouts and building up to 120 minutes we guarantee a huge improvement in your fat utilizations at your aerobic zone and a the endurance of an Ironman. Read more and Register.
Well-Fit Cyclocross
Cyclocross is among the fastest growing participant sports in the United States. Well-Fit CX will teach you everything you need to know and get you hooked on this amazing sport. Read more or register
For these classes you need:
- Bike: the bike you race with
- Optional: Bike computer: the computer should have cadence function
- Optional: Heart rate monitor: any brand is good as long as it has heart rate range function
Spring Programs:
Bike Strength
The focus of the class is developing your specific cycling strength. The workouts are designed around progressive development of your climbing ability. However, we will still be incorporating some bike technique drills.

Bike Power and Race Pace
The focus of the class is development of a stronger, faster, and more economical biker. Maximizing your force production and increasing your level of fatigue resistance. key workouts will revolve around your anaerobic pace and maximal power production.
