New this year, weather permitting, we will do a few sessions outside to work on bike handling skills such as stopping and turning so the rider will ride more safely and confidently.
Class will meet each week at Well-Fit. In the beginning, participants will ride together each week indoors on computerized stationary trainers. As the weather warms up classes will move outside and we will practice skills in a safe and traffic free environment.
At the end of this class each participant can expect to be more knowledgeable about cycling and have greatly improved cycling fitness. Each participant will be a safer rider and vastly more confident on the bike at their next race.
Each participant will need to bring their own bike to class each week. They will need to have a smooth road tire (no knobby mountain bike tires) and a rounded end steel rear wheel skewer (available for purchase at Well-Fit).
