Training with Power: 411

The first cycling class that not only teaches you how to train, but how to train with POWER.

THE BODY

  • A full 8 week periodized training plan in Training Peaks (4 sessions per week) beginning March 4th.
  • 2 coached sessions per week utilizing computrainers at the Well-Fit’s state-of-the-art training facility; Thursdays 6:00pm and Sundays 7:30am
  • A full array of power tests to build an accurate Power Profile
  • Develop the proper cycling mechanics over a range of cadences
THE MIND
  •  Partnered with Get-A-Grip Cycles, Well-Fit will bring you a full evening of Training with Power.
  • A representative from PowerTap and Zipp Wheels will present the benefits of riding with power and aerodynamics
  • A USAC Certified coach will conduct a series of power tests to accurately build a power profile. This will be used as an analytical tool throughout the program to help you build upon your strengths and begin to recognize your weaknesses
  • Weekly instruction will be provided so you can learn:The real difference between Zones 1, 2, 3 . . . 6
  • How to use the analytical software in Training Peaks – Finally understand how to read and analyze all of those graphs.
  • A written fitness assessment for each athlete by a USAC Certified Coach that includes:A report of your power profile with suggestions on how to improve your cycling abilities
  • Two ride reports for each individual athlete: one coached ride and one course simulation
  • Plus….All of your computrainer files will be uploaded into training peaks so you can begin to view them on your own and understand what it all means…
