Chicago Triathlon Training

June 5  |  12-week program

Whether you are looking to take on the challenge of completing your first triathlon, or you are trying to improve your performance from last year, Well-Fit’s Chicago Triathlon group training program has helped hundreds of athletes properly prepare and set a personal best.

Join us for a 12 week training program starting June 5, 2017. We will work on skills needed to compete or improve at the Sprint and Olympic distance levels.

This training program meets three times weekly. Under the guidance of an experienced coach, athletes will train to improve their technique and build their endurance as they prepare for their target race. Training will cover all facets of a triathlon, including swimming, biking, and running.  You will also be provided with weekly training plans and coach-led clinics and instruction on various topics including transitions, open water swimming, pacing, and nutrition.


Varies by day and training activity

Long Program

Swim: Tuesdays at 8:00PM at UIC

Bike: Mondays at 6:30PM at Well-Fit Training Center

Run: Wednesdays at 6:30PM (Weather permitting)


Short Program

Swim: Tuesdays at 8:00PM at UIC

Bike: Mondays at 7:30PM at Well-Fit Training Center

Run: Wednesdays at 6:30PM (Weather permitting)

*CARA Members will pay non-member fee until proof of membership is provided.  Please bring your card to the front desk or email it directly to, after which invoices will be discounted.

** Class cost will be refunded 50% if canceled no later than 2 weeks prior to the start date. After 2 weeks there will be NO REFUNDS. Injuries will be dealt with on a case to case basis.
