The Base Training Program will develop the basic skills, techniques and fitness you need to improve your performance this year. Kick start your season with the Well-Fit Triathlon Base Training Program.
This program is designed for athletes preparing for sprint, Olympic and Half-Ironman, where we'll develop your technique, strength and aerobic conditioning for a speedy triathlon season. Each week, Coach Ted will provide you with an online training plan consisting of swim, bike, run and strength workouts to prepare you for your upcoming season.
Tuesday we'll meet at the pool for a swim workout that will focus on form and technique, providing the building blocks for developing a better stroke. Wednesday evening the group will meet at the track downtown to run (weather permitting). On Thursdays, Coach Ted will guide participants through a bike or brick workout at the Well-Fit Training Center.
This class is an excellent choice to prepare you for spring triathlons and for the Chicago Triathlon and Steelhead 70.3 training groups that begin in April.
