Ironman Training

The Summer Ironman group training program is designed for those looking to compete in July – September 2021 Ironman events.  Pricing options are available for the following races:


Lake Placid – Race July 25 – 25 weeks

Mont Tremblant – Race August 22 – 29 weeks

Canada – Race August 29 – 30 weeks

Wisconsin – Race September 12 – 32 weeks

Maryland – Race September 18 – 33 weeks

Chattanooga – Race September 26 – 34 weeks

Well-Fit’s Summer Ironman training program is designed to provide comprehensive training and support to successfully help you complete an Ironman. Since 2009, we’ve helped hundreds of athletes hear those four little words “You are an Ironman.” Each year, our group consists of beginners (even those who have never done a triathlon!), as well as those who have already completed an Ironman. Our program includes weekly coached sessions to provide you with periodic training and technical feedback as well as triathlon-related education to improve yourself as an athlete.

We coach to the whole athlete. Completing an Ironman is more than just doing the training – it’s doing the right training at the right time in addition to integrating proper nutrition, recovery, and mindset. With 17 athletes per class, participants find training partners at similar speeds in the swim, bike, and run. No matter where you are in your journey as an athlete or what pace you go, you will find a welcoming place in our group and detailed education, guidance, and support from our coaches.


  • 25-34 weeks of an organized training plan with detailed daily workouts
  • Coaching support led by three exceptional USAT level I and II certified coaches with over 60 years of combined coaching and racing experience including the Ironman World Championship in Kona
  • Coached group training — 3 times per week
  • Unlimited communication with experienced coaches
  • Periodical swim, bike, and run testing
  • Video swim technique analysis

  • Two supported rides on the Ironman Wisconsin course in Madison (dates to be determined)
  • Teammates to help motivate and inspire your training
  • Race-day team tent and cheering stations. Amenities include a post-race massage, drinks, food and fun.

Run:  Beginning May 1 – Wednesdays at 6:30PM at Lake Shore Park track – 808 N. Lake Shore Dr.

Swim: Sundays at 8AM at the Whitney Young HS pool, 211 S Loomis

Evening Program

Evening program (tentative schedule)

Bike: Tuesdays – Early evening at 6pm

Run:  Beginning May 1 – Wednesdays at 6:30PM at Lake Shore Park track – 808 N. Lake Shore Dr.

Swim: Thursdays at 8pm, UIC PEB Small Pool, 901 W Roosevelt

**Refund policy: 50% refund up to 2 weeks prior to the start date. No refunds after 2 weeks before the program start date. Injuries will be dealt with on a case by case basis.**
