Chicago Triathlon Training

Whether you are looking to take on the challenge of completing your first triathlon, or you are trying to improve your performance from last year, Well-Fit’s Chicago Triathlon group training program has helped hundreds of athletes properly prepare and set a personal best.

During the Chicago Triathlon group training, we will work on skills needed to compete or improve at the Sprint and Olympic distance levels.

This training program meets three times weekly. Under the guidance of an experienced coach, athletes will train to improve their technique and build their endurance as they prepare for their target race. Training will cover all facets of a triathlon, including swimming, biking, and running.  You will also be provided with weekly training plans and coach-led clinics and instruction on various topics including transitions, open water swimming, pacing, and nutrition.

Long Program

Swim: Tuesdays at 8:00PM at UIC Physical Education Building Big Pool

Bike: Mondays at 7:00PM at Well-Fit Training Center

Run:  Starting May 1 – Wednesdays at 6:30PM at Lake Shore Park track – 808 N. Lake Shore Dr.

Short Program

Swim: Tuesdays at 8:00PM at UIC Physical Education Building Big Pool

Bike: Mondays at 7:00PM at Well-Fit Training Center

Run:  Starting May 1 – Wednesdays at 6:30PM at Lake Shore Park track – 808 N. Lake Shore Dr.

 

Cost

All Inclusive – $1,186 (Long Program) & $851 (Short Program)– Training program + membership. New this year, we are giving non-members the option to purchase the program at the member price and add multisport membership for the length of the program. We want to ensure your absolute success by doing all your training with Well-Fit under the watchful eye of all our coaches. You save 30% on the program cost and pay no initiation fee.  Enjoy unlimited access to the computrainer and altitude rooms, endless pool, and all classes. (Note, the membership dues will be billed separately from the program fee.)

Non-Members: Long Program $666; Short Program $444

CTC Members: Long Program $566; Short Program $377

Well-Fit Members:  Long Program $466; Short Program $310
