Youth Triathlon Training Program

June 7  |  12-week program

Encouraging young athletes to embrace a healthy lifestyle through a fun and engaging triathlon team program

 

This 12-week training program will develop the fitness, skill, and strategy the young athlete needs to complete the Youth Triathlons.

The Well-Fit youth training program meets two times weekly and trains under the guidance and supervision of certified and experienced coaches. This training program is focused on developing the skill and technique, and fitness of the younger athlete looking to participate in a triathlon.  Training will cover all facets of a triathlon, including swimming, biking, and running.

Program includes:

  • Day-by-day training plan
  • Swim, bike, and run workouts
  • Trainingpeaks account to deliver the program and monitor progress
  • Clinics on various topics
    • Bike handling skill and safety
    • Open water swimming
    • Transition

The athletes will be training at the state-of-the-art Well-Fit Training Center, the only center designed around the endurance athlete, specifically those of the triathlete. The Training Center is equipped with 24 CompuTrainers, an endless pool, treadmills, and a vast array of functional conditioning equipment.

Schedule:

The program will run from June 07 – August 28, 2021 (12 weeks) with two weekly  60-90 minute training sessions

  • Mondays and Thursdays 5pm (bike/run) at Well-Fit Training Center

Cost:

Members: $380, Non-Members: $480
